Zoltek Companies, Inc. mission is to commercialize the use of carbon fibers as a low-cost, but high performance reinforcement for composites used as the primary building material in everyday commercial products. We have developed and are implementing a strategy to manufacture and sell carbon fibers into commercial applications at costs competitive with other materials. Our commercial grade carbon fibers are sold under the PANEX trade name and our oxidized acrylic fiber are sold under the PYRON trade name.
